About NEOTRA

The Northeast Ohio Trail Riders Association (NEOTRA) is an affiliate club of the Ohio Horseman’s Council (OHC), and the Portage County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman’s Council (PCOHC) is a chapter of that same organization.

These two clubs have joined together to help maintain the equestrian trails in Portage County and at West Branch State Park. Together they hold trail maintenance days throughout the riding season. Please consider joining our efforts to ensure these trails stay available for future generations.

Our Mission

To provide a fun, respectful, team-oriented environment where members can meet and enjoy other horse people, develop friendships, give lone riders partners to ride with, enjoy group rides and camping, share advice, and learn new things — all while working together to maintain and promote the West Branch trails and encouraging more horse people to become members.
